Dr. Schumacher Descoderm alk. is an alcohol-based, skin-friendly hand and skin disinfectant, particularly recommended for people with sensitive or allergy-prone skin. It contains no cumulative long-term active substances, fragrances, or other additives that could irritate sensitive skin.
It has bactericidal, tuberculocidal, yeasticidal, and virus-inactivating properties. The product is listed in the current DGHM/VAH disinfectant list and registered in the RKI disinfectant list.

Directions for use

For application to the skin and for the preparation of cooling compresses.
For cooling compresses, dilute the solution with an equal amount of water (1:1).

Hygienic hand disinfection: Rub into hands and keep skin moist for 30 seconds.

Surgical hand disinfection: Rub into hands and forearms, keeping skin moist for 5 minutes.

Prior to simple injections and punctures of peripheral vessels: Thoroughly rub skin and keep moist for 15 seconds.

Prior to surgery and joint punctures: Thoroughly rub skin and keep moist for 1 minute.

For sebaceous (oil-rich) skin: Thoroughly rub skin and keep moist for 10 minutes.
